Why don't you offer free shipping for larger orders?

KPTiles firmly believes in knowing what you are paying for. The reality of free shipping is that it isn't free at all. Most times, the prices are increased across the board to compensate for free shipping. Look closely and price compare. KPTiles tries to keep our prices low while remaining in business and charging the customer actual shipping. That is why we adjust 95% of our orders after actual shipping is detrmined. We want you to know what you are paying for and to feel confortable safely shopping with us!
Do you sell wholesale?
This is a common question and is generally directed at the china, this is the item that is the most expensive and the hardest to get. The plates are very expensive and then there is the cost of labor in cutting those plates, not to mention all the peripheral costs in making it available for sale. As a result the base price can be expensive. Generally at this point, there would be a profit/retail mark up. We do not make this mark up, we believe the cost of the broken plate mosaic tiles would be far too expensive. Since we don't do an additional markup, it doesn't allow me the room to offer a wholesale discount.
However, wholesale accounts are now accepted for 3/4" and 3/8" glass mosaic tiles and the MosaicIt! surfaces.

What do I do with tesserae of different thicknesses?
There are hundreds of tiles with different thicknesses and styles. This is a common problem , especially with china which always has different thicknesses. The simple solution is to simply build up the back of the thinner piece with adhesive to match the height of the thicker pieces. Adhesive can "give it a lift"! Some adhesives work better than others. Pick an adhesive that is especially thick and it will work great.

When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. But when your order requires any cutting (faux china box, handcut china, faux china etc.) it will take longer. How much longer depends but we try to get it done as soon as possible.
